Polestar Applied Solutions has a varied client base in the business critical mail sector, which includes Finance, Retail, Mail Order, Tourism, Banking, Publishing, Utilities and Charities to name but a few.

The Applied Solution division’s manufacturing capabilities are split over two sites. 

The Leeds facility is a specialist business forms printing site, which primarily consists of three specialist web presses’. This site produces the majority of base stationary and secondary inserts required for most mail pack requirements. It is a secure site and produces a range of which also has the ability to print cheques and other secure / Government sensitive documents.

This plant facility has had a large amount of capital investment in the latest technology. Most recently a £4 million investment was made into devices which can offer both highlight colour and full colour variable personalisation. After thorough market evaluation, Polestar has taken the decision to install the UK’s first Oce JetStream 2200, a, along with machine speed upgrades to our existing mono equipment which gives us the largest capacity in the UK market in both mono and colour personalisation. This investment allows us to produce high quality colour suitable for both marketing and transactional at high speed at very competitive rates across all volumes which has not been possible until now in the current market place.

Polestar Applied Solutions yearly investment profile has typically been in excess of £2 million per year in updating our facilities. This high level of investment is part of the Polestar Group’s on-going strategy to move quickly with improvements in the market place to remain competitive and offer clients new services.

The Nottingham site is our main facility which accommodates all of our customer service account teams, data processing, mono and colour personalisation and fulfilment. This site was purpose built in 2000 to suit our manufacturing work flow.

 

 
 
 
 
 




Main Site

By Road
Polestar Applied Solutions Sherwood Park can be easily reached from both the North and South, via the M1 motorway junction 27.
Once off the motorway follow the A608 eastwards for a short distance, turning left at the first roundabout into Sherwood Business Park.
Continue straight down over the mini roundabout and we are situated on the right immediately after the right hand turning for Lake View Drive.

Site 2

Northbound - M1/M621
Leave the M621 at Junction 5, sign posted Hunslet/Beeston. Turn left onto Tunstall Road At the first set of traffic lights turn left onto Garnet Road. Continue on Garnet Road for approx 150 yards, and turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto the A653 Dewsbury Road .Continue on Dewsbury Road past petrol station and straight on at the traffic lights. Polestar Direct is on the left hand side before the public house. Parking is underneath the building.

Eastbound / Westbound - M62

Westbound - Leave the M62 at Junction 28, making sure you are in the right hand lane marked A653 Leeds as you approach the roundabout from the slip road. Stay in lane on the roundabout and take the A653 Leeds/Airport/White Rose Centre exit. Eastbound - Leave the M62 at Junction 28. Take the first exit left off the roundabout onto the A653 Leeds/Airport/White Rose Centre.

Westbound/Eastbound Continued -  Continue on the A653 Leeds over the first two roundabouts. Immediately after the second roundabout turn right signposted Leeds and South Leeds Stadium. Continue straight on at the first set of traffic lights. Be in the right hand lane at the second set of traffic lights to continue straight on, as Polestar Direct is located on the right hand side just after the junction. Parking is underneath the building.




Site 3

Polestar Applied Solutions Technology division can be easily reached from both the North and South, via the M1 motorway junction 14.
Once off the motorway follow the A509 to central Milton Keynes then at the Nortfield Roundabout take teh 3rd exit onto A509/Portway. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Saxon Gate then turn left on Midsummer Boulevard
