A powerful gravure production plant in the UK, Polestar Varnicoat specialises in time sensitive magazines, newspaper supplements, and catalogues for leading publishers.

Four high speed Gravure presses – including the UK’s first 3.52 metre press – ensure the company has the firepower in the pressroom that allows high volume publications to be manufactured in the shortest possible time.

Stitching and finishing operations can be carried out in-line using modern, high-speed stitchers and rotary trimmers, adding value and further time savings to schedules by providing press-finished products. Two presses are also equipped with inkjet numbering facilities.

Polestar Varnicoat has the flexibility to deliver anything from A5 tabloid in section sizes from 32 pages to 224 pages.

Varnicoat’s presses are fed by its state of the art data processing and cylinder manufacturing facility, which has the capacity to handle and produce 200 cylinders a week. Data can be received via a variety of platforms from anywhere in the world, and with the ability to engrave cylinders in 30 minutes, the speed and flexibility of this service facilitates the incorporation of any last minute changes or corrections from customers.
 




From the M40 - Junction 15

Depart the M40, J15 on the A45 towards Stratford.   Follow the signs to Evesham, A46.  After about 14 miles you will see signs for the A4538  to Worcester.  Follow this road for about 4 miles.  You will pass around Wyre Piddle on the bypass.  After about a mile, on entering Pinvin, turn left at the traffic lights onto Terrace Road, Polestar Varnicoat is situation 200 yards on the left hand side.

From the M5 - Junction 6

Depart the M5, J6 on the A4548 towards Evesham for 2 miles.  Carry on the A4538 for 5 miles.  At the first set of traffic lights turn right on to Terrace Road (B4082).  Polestar Varnicoat is situated on the left hand side just after the traffic lights.

From the M5 - Junction 7

Depart the M5, J7 on the B4084 towards Pershore for 6 miles.  At the first set of traffic lights turn left onto Station Road for 1 mile, on this road you will go over a railway bridge (now Terrace Road) and Polestar Varnicoat is situated on the right hand side after the garage.

Pershore is famous for its ancient Abbey close to the town centre in its own grounds.

At the lower end of the high street there are many Georgian buildings including Perrott House and Stanhope House.  Close to Pershore is the historic riverside town of Evesham, famous for its home grown produce, in particular, asparagus.  Worcester is situated approximately 20 minutes away, the birthplace of Elgar and home of Worcester Cathedral, along with ther well known Royal Worcester Porcelain factory.  Situated just outside Worcester are the Malvern Hills, popular with walkers and famous for its Natural Spring Water as favoured by the Queen.  For sports fans there is Worcester Country Cricket Club and Rugby at Worcester's refurbished ground, Sixways
